Description: Bostock Circus - French postcard set - circa 1910's - Art - Animals This is a fantastic set of 10 cards. Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my! Most of the cards are near mint. A few have minor blemishes but you have to look hard. Includes Le Chariot (Tigers pullin chariot), Le Defi (defiant lion, gun) , La Bascule (Lions, tigers, see saw) , Supplice de Tantale (Head in Lion's mouth), La Recreation ( Bears, Lions, Tigers) , Familiarites (Lepards, Tigers, Lions) , Promenade en Tricycie (Lions, Dogs, Bear, Tricycle) , Rebellion (Lion Tamer) , La Charmeusem (Snake Handler) , Au Pole (Polar Bears) . Cards from this set are very scarce and hard to come by and a set of 10 is very rare, especially in this condition. This is an original postcard.
