The Emerald Blueberry has moderately-low chilling requirement, only requiring about 250 hours. This variety produces high quality, early ripening berries. The Emerald grows fairly tall with many growing canes. Trim these back by 1/3 after every harvest. The Emerald makes Larger, sweet fruit. Cross pollinate with at least 3 plants either the Emerald or another variety. The Jewel is an excellent cross pollinator. All my plants are grown pesticide free, so forgive me if there is a spot on a leaf or a hole in the leaf.
