Description: Really beautiful large baby Jesus nativity statue. We think it's some type of hollow plaster or ceramic? It is unmarked so we don't know who the maker was or when it was made. We are not experts on these types of statues so please view pics closely. It is not resin or plastic. It has glass eyes and long eye lashes. It is in very good condition EXCEPT the fingers on both hands have been repaired and this is visible. His ceramic has a few very small surface flaws that came from the factory but nothing obvious or detracting. There is also visible paint loss on the back of the right hand and a small chip of paint missing on a toe on the left foot and His hairline by His forehead. He also has a tiny black speck of paint on his chin that may have been from the factory? He also has some slight overspray on His forehead from His hair. All the rest of the paint is good and He presents very beautifully. We are a bit baffled though at the fact that His diaper is pink? Anyway, He's just beautiful and rare at his very large size and the fact that he is actually plaster and not resin. He'd be a great addition to any nativity scene whether at home or maybe a church?
