The jar is in great shape and has a Mason's zinc lid with milk glass liner. The jar is a half gallon with the " bullet " shape or soft shoulders of the earlier jars. The jar is about 9" tall. This jar dates to the early years of the Atlas Glass Co. which started in 1896. The jar does have some waves and small bubbles here and there in the glass. This jar will be a wonderful addition to your collection. CONDITION: The jar is in overall great condition for an old utilitarian bottle with no hairlines, chips or breaks. There are some small interior fleabites on the rim as well as some straw marks from manufacturing and cooling from the mold. There is some slight case/contact wear on the base. The lid is solid and the milk glass seal is intact. Please use the pictures for absolute condition as we have tried to show the items from every angle and in different lighting conditions.
