Commercial Pine is the most widely used by commercial beekeepers, tight knots are allowed except in the joint and rabbet. This Medium Super has a 6-5/8" body with tapered handholds for easy grip. Precision cut rests for 6 1/8" frames. All parts of this box are pine and fully assembled. All parts that are exposed to weather are painted. Plastic foundation is double coated with wax.
