Description: This is a SCARCE postcard by the caricaturist H. Schick depicting French President Emile Loubet (1838-1929) on the day he left office after his first term- Feb 18, 1906. President Loubet was loved by many as he rose from humble beginnings as a farmer’s son to the highest office in France. He became the first French president to serve two full terms, known for settling the Dreyfus Affair and his skill as an orator. This card is a must for anyone who collects political satire postcards!
