Description: We offer an antique brass 5 in. Altitude Gauge patented on March 24. 1903. It is made by American Steam Gauge & Valve Mfg. Co. Boston, U.S.A., showing the height of water in feet from 0 to 70. The diameter of the actual gauge is 6" and includes the brass fittings and steel pipe, measuring a total of 12" in length. The gauge weighs 3.7#. The glass is in great condition, not cracked. As shown in the photos, the red dial has minor paint loss, and after in excess of 120 years, there is some minor dust/dirt inside the case.
