Description: For being about 120 years old, this dress is in remarkable condition! Still very wearable, if you are extra small. The cotton is a fine white lawn, shell buttons close the back. Insets of open work add beautiful accents at the neck, down the front, around the waist, and at the edges of the sleeves. Then there is all that pleating. All these details create a symphony of elegant simplicity!The measurements are: Neck - 13”. Armpit to Armpit - 16”. Shoulder to Shoulder - 15”. Waist - 22”. Hip - 36”. Length from top of shoulder - 57”. Length from waist - 43”.Photos #12-#14 show photos where there are tiny dots on fabric, small stains, tiny holes. The rest of the photos show stains on the very bottom part of the dress, mostly in the back.. I have not tried to clean the dress. I know there are methods to clean these antique white dresses, but I lack expertise in that department. I welcome all questions and requests for more photos.
