Description: Antique Viennese enamel and silver miniature open urn by Leopold Weininger (Vienna/ Austria, c. 1883-1900). Gilded silver rams head handles flank open well with flared rim and tapered body, enameled design features two medallions with figures engaging in amorous/ mischievous pursuits, interior hand-painted with scroll design on cream enamel, raised on domed round foot with putti decoration. Maker's mark "JW" and silver mark stamped on bright cut rim, wear consistent with age and use, loss of gilt, rubbing of enamel. 3 1/8" h x 2 1/4" rim diameter.
