The dress is an element of the local folk costume and would have been worn with other garments to create the full ensemble. The chemise is made from natural homespun linen and embroidered by hand on the front, around the collar, on the shoulders, and on the cuffs. The embroidery is very fine and has preserved its color perfectly. There are no noticeable damages, stains holes, or tears to the dress, which dates to the beginning of the 20th century.
