Description: This listing is for an unusual piece of Judaica, an antique Jewish brass & bronze Yizkor/Yahrzeit memorial Oil Lamp in the shape of tombstone. Around the edge of the tombstone are chains connected at corner posts. I believe this is made of brass and bronze. This unique item weighs 1 pound 10 ounces and measures 5" tall x 4 3/4" long x 3" across. There are 2 Hebrew words on the front of the tombstone: "לזכרון", which means "In Memoriam" and "תנצב״ה", which is an abbreviation for "תְּהֵא נַפְשׁוֹ/נַפְשָׁהּ צְרוּרָה בִּצְרוֹר הַחַיִּים", which is a quote from the Book of Samuel Chapter 25 Verse 29 and means "May his/her soul be bound up in the bond of life".
