Description: This antique music box, jewelry box, powder box features a rotating Cupid design and is made from cut crystal and silver plate. It is a perfect combination of crystal and music boxes. The box was manufactured in West Germany between 1900-1939 and is branded on the rim of the lid West Germany. The mechanism is branded Reuge St. Croix Switzerland label. It is a unique and beautiful piece that will make a great addition to any collection. This piece has been polished and is quite gorgeous. There is a chip on the inside rim of the base but otherwise this glass has no cracks or flea bites. The mechanism does work by winding the Cupid and pulling the pin. It plays a 36 note song which I have not yet figured out what this song is. It sounds very familiar but I can not place it. The barrel reads 1606.
