Description: This incredibly beautiful antique amberline was woven in silk and cotton in 19th century France. A superb example of a 19th century woven amerline, the design features lovely stems of flowers, leaves and berries framed by lacy ribbons entwined with leaves and fruit woven over a gorgeous striped pattern. The colors are tan, cream, soft green and dusty peach-orange. The fabric measures 22 inches in width by 33 inches in length. This heavy weight fabric would be wonderful framed for the serious collector of early textiles! Not recommended for sewing! Condition: This is antique fabric. There is a large spot near the left edge and smaller spots in the upper left corner and lower left corner. There is surface dirt here and there elsewhere. There are breaks/threadbare areas in the fabric. Not recommended for sewing! Please see photos for reference. All fabrics, wallpapers and paintings are sold "as is".
