Description: Here is a handsome antique late Victorian kitchen or table clock manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Company, in as found condition. Clock has original Ansonia brass movement dated 1882. No chips or cracks found in nice original glass tablet. Movement strikes wire gong on half hour and counts the hours . With original fancy pendulum and replacement key. Clock has been running and striking properly now but has not been regulated for accuracy, will need some adjustments upon delivery. This has been listed as a repair project since it is missing the top finial as pictured, and someone has touched up the trim with gold paint some years ago. Could look great with some refinishing and TLC. Please see photos for condition.
