Description: Antique 1800s Or Early 1900s Singer Spinx Treadle Sewing Machine Head Only Not positive the decade of its release. The has been oiled up and seems to operate when cranked, but that was far as I could get with testing since im.more familiar with electric models with a motor on it. Mechanically things seem to be working or close to operational, but I'm sure it will need some adjustments and servicing considering it's age.it has been cleaned and oiled and when cranking the wheel the needle goes up and down and the bobbin case rotates..that is all I know. I am.not sure if it is missing any components or pieces. Beautiful design. Obvious wear and fading of a lot of the detailed artwork and decorations. Priced down accordingly in case you'd like to bring it back to its operational glory. But would make an awesome decoration in the meantime!
