Fits standard siding with common 1/2 projection. Item Description: Colored shim to fix the angled doorbell problem where your doorbell when screwed to angled siding this will make the doorbell face straight ahead instead of slanted upwards. Choose your siding then Choose a color that’s close to your siding color, black or silver to match the back of Doorbell, or match the cover. To Order: Choose Your siding from the "Siding Type" dropdown first. If your siding size is not listed in the dropdown please contact me. Choose your color from the "Color" dropdown last. Measuring your Siding: To measure your siding you measure a single panel from the bottom lip of the top panel to the bottom lip of the next panel. On the panel you want your doorbell. It’s important to not only measure the height of panel but also the projection(how much one panel overlaps the other) when ordering to confirm fitment. For best fitment for standard vinyl Siding your measurement should be 1/2 inch. For board metal mounts it should be 3/8 projection. If when you are measuring your siding to choose a size and you notice there is a "hump" in your tape measure and it does not lay flat on the siding. Then you most likely have Dutch Lap and will need to contact me as none of these mounts offered fit dutchlap style siding. *If you are unsure of the mount you need or the siding you have do not hesitate to contact me. sending a picture always helps and i can assist you with what item to order. This is for Vinyl siding that has Panels that measure exactly 4 inches each. If you panel is 5 inches or longer you may want this version. It does not have the standoff legs. This version allows you to place your doorbell anywhere on the panel. Perfect for if you want you doorbell higher, lower or centered on the panel. It still has the Siding angle built in so doorbell faces straight ahead. This is the version you want if you have flat siding (brick, stucco, etc) and want to angle your doorbell up or down 7% This is the version you want if you have angled siding such as vinyl siding but your doorbell is too low and you want it angled up more. this will angle the doorbell up addition 7 degrees on angled siding.
