1993 PELIKAN M810 BLUE OCEAN LIMITED EDITION FOUNTAIN PEN W/BOX & PAPERS MINT

Description: For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Mint Condition 1993 Pelikan M810 Blue Ocean Limited Edition 2840 of 5000 Fountain Pen fitted with an 18K Medium Nib. This fountain pen has never seen ink and comes with the Pelikan Blue Ocean Limited Edition Warranty Card, Literature, and original inner and outer boxes. I consider this Pelikan Wall Street Fountain pen in Never Inked, Mint Condition. NOTE: The Blue Ocean fountain pen, designated the M810, was Pelikan’s first official limited edition and was released in 1993 The model was designed around the successful sales of the M800 Green Demo that came out in 1992. Unlike the preceding Green Demonstrator, the Blue Ocean was a numbered release with the edition number engraved around the crown of the cap top. This Blue Ocean was built on the M800 design and has the usual trim an 800 would have. The cap top has a gold medallion with the 2-chick Pelikan logo. The end of the piston knob also bears a gold medallion depicting the image of a compass. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, wear, or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap banding is stamped with, "PELIKAN GERMANY". The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Pelikan M810 measures 5 1/2" inches in length capped and 6 1/2" inches posted. The Piston Filler works with such ease in my tests with water. The piston filler works flawlessly and operates smoothly every time! The NIB is an 18C/750 two-tone type with a Medium point. The actual fountain pen tipping/iridium measures .83mm when measured using digital calipers. This pen was never inked nor did I ink it only to keep it in Mint condition for the new collector. All of the original boxes and documentation accompany the fountain pen. All are in excellent condition and complete. The Pelikan M810 Blue Ocean Fountain Pen is in Mint condition with it never being inked. This Pelikan Limited Edition Fountain Pen is very desirable and coveted by Pelikan collectors as it was the first official limited edition fountain pen they officially made.
