The PRS EG3 is a Paul Reed Smith guitar from 1990 that has many features which makes it comparable to a strat. The body is alder, it has 3 single coils, a pickguard and unlike most PRS guitars it features a bolt-on neck. The EG series guitars are also the first PRS guitars that feature 22 frets instead of 24. The first series of this guitar still had carved horns albeit the overall body form is a bit more square than a Custom 24. The bridge of this guitar is the well known PRS Trem. Other features of this guitar are : a Wide-thin neck, 1 Volume knob, 2 tone knobs and a 5-way switch. This guitar is in good shape with several indents and marks and light hardware tarnish, rated at 8/10. All original with no truss rod cover and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs.
