You can buy this partial set/almost complete set and have the "ULTIMATE SATISFACTION" to complete the set yourself, chasing down just the 2 key cards (Michael Jordan # 117, Patrick Ewing # 166) to put them into the empty card slots. But, I recommend buying the Jordan & Ewing graded if you're not familiar with Star cards to avoid buying fakes/reprints! This Star company base set/cards are the rarest and least printed sports cards from the 1980's and just happens to be considered the "GOLDEN ERA" of basketball with many rookie cards belonging in this 1985-86 Star base set like Patrick Ewing rookie card, 2nd year card of Michael Jordan, Kevin Willis rc, Jerome Kersey rc, and includes all 2nd or 3rd year cards of all other notable HOF players like Wilkins, Drexler, Thomas, Worthy, Chambers, Olajuwon, Barkley, Stockton, etc. The 2nd year Jordan and Ewing are NOT included in this almost complete set, mentioned only as reference on the importance and significance of this Star year's set. And includes the rare Michael Ray Richardson card # 65 with HALF of the position/team name line shown at bottom of the card. Due to his 3 words name, the position/team name line was pushed down on the printing plate too low, causing the position/team name to show up only HALFWAY!! After realizing the problem early on, Star just deleted the position/team name line on the card completely. Making the HALFWAY shown position/team name variation card quite rare!! Condition: overall nrmt-mt with usual centering for Star cards.
