Description: Seat tube = 22" (c-t) Top tube = 23.5" (c-c) Standover = 32 7/8" Serial No. = M2G29974To give you an idea of the frame size, I am 6' tall (about 184cm) and the frame is very comfortable for me. I imagine it fits riders that are within a few inches of 6', give or take. Please see frame dimensions to confirm. According to the serial number, this Stumpjumper was made in 1982. It appears to be completely original, except for the tires. This bike is still equipped with very early ATB selections like Mafac brakes, TA Specialites cranks, Tommaselli brake levers, and Avocet saddle. It has Araya 26x1.75 rims laced to Suzue hubs. It shows some patina but it is still in great shape. I inspected the frame and fork and did not see any dents, dings, or cracks. It is a beautiful bike. The bike will be disassembled as needed for secure shipping. Sale as-is in vintage condition. Thanks! P.S. This particular bike was owned by Ed Pavelka, long time editor of Bicycling magazine, and was purchased at the West Hill bike shop in Putney, Vermont. Ed claims this was one of the earliest mountain bikes in VT. see also crust rivendell bridgestone mb-1 trek 850 870 950 970 univega alpina rockhopper surly stooge schwinn cimarron high sierra
