Description: Willie Stargell signed hard cover book copyrighted in 1982 by Creative Education Inc. The book is in EX condition and the Stargell signature on the book cover is MT, signed perfectly by Hall of Fame star Willie Stargell with a deep blue marker. The left two corners of the book were hit and the rest of the outside is NM-MT. The contents of the book are MT, free of any markings and containing illustrations of the players from the long history of the Pittsburgh Pirates. There are also 2 signed pages in the book on their photo. One is by Hall of Fame Pirate Bill Mazeroski and the other by pitcher Jim Bibby. Both of those signatures are MT as well, Mazeroski’s with a black pen and Bibby’s with a blue marker. Stargell is the only player in MLB history to win the League MVP, the League Championship Series MVP and the World Series MVP in one season (1979). In his 21 year career he hit 475 HR, had 1,540 RBI’s, was a 7X All-Star and 2X World Series Champion! He’s in the Hall of Fame. Mazeroski is a 10X All-Star 2nd baseman and he’s in the Hall of Fame. Bibby was an All-Star pitcher and helped the Pirates to their 1979 World Series championship.
