Description: 1912 D LIBERTY "V" NICKEL PCGS AU 58 TOUGH SEMI KEY DATE WITH SMOOTH PALE BRASSY SILVERY/ PEWTER SURFACES, GOOD STRIKE, LIGHT WEAR. This is the first and only Liberty nickel minted in Denver. A low mintage (for the era) of 8,474,000 and with the crazy low mintage 1912 S providing a diversion, it seems the 1912 D Lib was mostly swept into the avenues of commerce. Friendlier to the wallet than Mint State examples, and quite pleasing.
