Description: Up for sale is an antique 1912 Chelsea 6" Ship's Bell Striking Mechanical Clock. This clock would be perfect for a full restoration as it is a matching serial number clock with the serial number on the case matching the serial number on the backside of the movement plate which you can see in the photos. I have also reached out the the Chelsea clock company for a certificate of origin for the particular clock, which will be included along with the sale. You can see that per their records, it was sold in June 1912 to the George B Carpenter Company. **Please note that this clock is somewhat interesting in that it has a Bell Striking case paired with a standard NON Bell-Striking internal mechanism yet both are engraved with the same matching serial numbers. I am unsure as to exactly why this is the case, but my assumption is that it left the factory just like this and is probably considered a factory error** Please view the photos to see the exact condition and let me know if any additional photos or videos are needed. The clock is coming from a smoke and pet free home and will be shipped very well protected in a double boxes to ensure a safe delivery. Thanks!
