Description: This is a nice, original series of the 7 serial publications of Conan Doyle's Brigadier Gerard published in The Strand Magazine in 1895 in these 6 Parts. Running from April to December 1895, Volumes 52-57 and 60. Each is complete with period advertising! Each measures 6.5" x 9.75" There is some surface discoloration on right edges of magazines and some wear at edges, some tiny tears to spines, the July issue has some material loss on spine with small tears and the one piece front and back cover is separated from page block. The April issue has back cover slightly separated from page block and small material loss at one corner. Material loss at foot of spine on December issue. Generally these 7 magazines have survived the years in pretty good shape ! Please review photos carefully and Email with any question. A great addition to any collection!
