Description: Top side guide bracket replacement fork that fits Delta 14" band saws. Complete with Allen wrench or thumb screws for rub block securement. Interchanges with Delta part number LBS-131 or 426-02-014-0004 Shaft Measures .3175" (or about 3/8'') x .5875"-(about 9/16") x 1-3/4" long" May come with set screws OR thumb screws, see picturesIMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE: The thrust bearing post has a cam upon which the thrust bearing is mounted. This has six possible positions that swing the bearing closer to the guide fork or further away. You may need to re-position the thrust bearing post so the thrust bearing clears the blade. To do this first remove the thrust bearing. Then back out the screw that holds the post on and pull the post out with it. Re-position the thrust bearing post to allow for clearance and reinstall. See last picture of post end with bearing removed for clarification on this point.DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SET SCREWS THAT HOLD THE GUIDE BLOCKS IN! THEY NEED ONLY BE SNUG. Over tightening is a beginners mistake that is the only cause of this parts failure.GUIDE ADJUSTMENT: To adjust the guide first move both upper and lower guides away from blade so it does not touch them.Next track your blade so it is in the center of the wheels. Then move the lower side guides so that they just touch the blade behind the teeth. Repeat with upper guide. Then adjust the thrust bearings so that they almost touche the rear edge of the blade with no load. Hundreds sold.
