Afer two years and no later than 4 they flower and die! But no worries, by then they've offset multiple babies which take the place of the flower when it dies. These stay a succulent green when in the shade or mossy areas but continue growing just fine. When exposed to lots of sun the rosset is tighter and turns more maroon. In cold weather they have more of a lime green and pinkish red about them. These are really fun plants.
